This place was magical!! The pool, the garden, the room, the shared kitchen in the garden, everything was perfect. One of the best places we stayed during our travel. We were here only for one night but highly recommend to stay at least two nights!

The family was very friendly. We could arrange an easy day trips with a driver, of we chose to over driving ourselves. The location is perfect, close to the to Abilene, and the area is very safe. We enjoyed the pool under the sun, the good view from the garden, and the good breakfast in the morning. We had a great stay, I recommend it!

Very nice place, with a wonderful swimming pool and lots of space in the room. About 15 minutes walk to the restaurants, but that means it is quiet. Very much recommended to stay for a couple of nights.

Six members of my family stayed at the house for one night in June 2019. We were two groups of three. Owner and proprietor Mrs. Gray took our reservations herself and was on site to welcome us upon arrival. She’s lovely. Her B&B has great curb appeal; along a pretty tree-lined street and in very good upkeep. There are only four guest rooms so it has a quiet, homey feel. My group of three was upstairs in the Sisters room. Very charming. A very roomy bedroom with advertised queen bed (we thought it was a full), TV, classic Victorian furniture. We had a full kitchen which would be great if we stayed longer. There’s also a second bedroom with a very comfortable daybed. This was perfect for our 13-year old son. The bathroom in this room is very small. A small pedestal sink, shower only. It’s clean and adequate but tight. Our other group of three had the Brice room. It has a double bed and a twin bed so it was perfect for them.The bathroom with this room is bigger than the one in the Sisters room. This room is on the first floor and, unfortunately, my family members in this room had a difficult night’s sleep. The residents in the room above were up several times overnight and the wood floors creaked and groaned quite loudly with their every step. Try to book upstairs. The main living room was roomy and large but we didn’t spend time there.The morning continental breakfast was very good. Homemade pastries, English muffins, cereals, fruit, etc. Very tasty. We had breakfast with the other house guests and it was very pleasant. The location is great. Just 3-4 blocks to the main drag in Skaneateles. It is a charming town with plenty of restaurants and cute shops. It also sits on the edge of one of the Finger Lakes and there is a long boardwalk you can walk out on to get closer to the beautiful, clear water. Note: hit Skoops Ice Cream shop. Neat flavors, very good. We highly recommend this B&B. IF you book the rooms on the second floor. First floor rooms would be fine if your upstairs neighbors settle for the whole night. We enjoyed our stay.
